Emotion Factory is the publishing brand of the entity below, which is the data controller for the information described in this Policy.
This Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it. It covers our mobile games, including Tile Journey, and the website at emofactory.io. It does not cover third-party services that have their own policies — those are listed in section 5.
Our games can be played without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details in-game, and we do not ask you to sign in. We and our service providers may automatically collect:
The website at emofactory.io collects nothing. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party resources — see our Cookie Policy.
We use this information to operate and improve our games: to save your progress, to fix bugs and crashes, to balance difficulty, to measure how features perform, to process and restore purchases, to answer support requests, and — where permitted — to show and measure advertising.
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving our games, on the performance of our terms with you, and on your consent where consent is what applies (for example, personalised advertising).
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the games, and only for that purpose:
| Category | What they do |
|---|---|
| App stores | Apple App Store and Google Play distribute our games and process all payments under their own terms and privacy policies. |
| Analytics providers | Aggregate gameplay and performance statistics so we can find bugs and balance levels. |
| Advertising networks | Deliver and measure ads inside our games, where ads are shown. |
| Crash reporting | Collect diagnostic reports when the game stops working. |
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, our players or the public.
You control the advertising identifier on your own device:
Turning these off does not stop ads appearing; it stops them being personalised.
We are established in Serbia and our service providers may process data in other countries, including inside and outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision covering the destination country.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 4. Gameplay and diagnostic data is kept in aggregated or pseudonymised form for as long as it remains useful for improving the games. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and to keep a record of it. If you ask us to delete data tied to your device, we do so unless we are required to keep it.
Depending on where you live — this includes the EEA, the UK, Serbia and California — you may have the right to access the data we hold about your device, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email legalrequests@emofactory.io. Because our games have no accounts, we can only locate your data through your device's advertising identifier — please include it, along with your device model and the game name, or we may not be able to find anything to act on.
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to legalrequests@emofactory.io and we will delete it.
We protect the information we hold with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and restricted access to the systems that store it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Policy as our games evolve. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make that clear in the game or on this site.
