1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies are commonly used to remember settings, to keep you signed in, to measure how a site is used, or to profile visitors for advertising. Mobile apps generally do not use cookies at all; they use device-level identifiers instead, which we cover in section 4.

2. Cookies on emofactory.io

This website sets no cookies. It is a set of static pages. It runs no analytics, embeds no social widgets, shows no advertising, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other domains — everything the page needs is served from emofactory.io itself. Nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage either.

Because we set no cookies and store nothing on your device, there is no consent banner on this site and there is nothing for you to opt out of.

3. Our hosting provider

The site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting and security provider. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies — for example to identify malicious traffic or to keep a service reliable. Cookies of this kind are exempt from consent requirements because the service could not be delivered without them. They carry no advertising or profiling function. Cloudflare describes them in its own documentation.

4. Inside our mobile games

Our games do not use cookies. They use identifiers your device provides, which serve a comparable purpose:

TechnologyPurposeYour control
Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) Shows and measures advertising, and limits how often you see the same ad. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete it.
Local device storage Saves your progress, settings and sound preferences on the device itself. Cleared when you delete the game.
Analytics and crash SDKs Report crashes and aggregate gameplay statistics so we can fix bugs and balance levels. Governed by the platform privacy settings above.

On iOS we ask your permission through App Tracking Transparency before any tracking, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.

5. If this changes

If we later add analytics, embedded video or advertising to this website, we will update this Policy before doing so and, where the law requires consent, ask for it through a proper consent banner rather than assuming it.
